Don't go near the water. The Halliwell sisters face the truth about their mother's death years before when they revisit the long-closed summer camp and lake where she mysteriously drowned. Prue, Piper and Phoebe witness two more present-day violent drownings and meet Sam, a homeless man who they find out was once their mother's White Lighter. To save the young campers who are returning to the newly opened camp, Prue must face her greatest fear and follow in her mother's fatal footsteps to destroy a watery demon. Meanwhile, Leo and Piper learn that they aren't the first White Lighter and witch to fall in love.
