• Lori Rom was originally slated to play the part of Phoebe, but was replaced with Alyssa Milano when she left the show for personal reasons.
• T.W. King played Detective Andy Trudeau in the first season. Andy was an old childhood friend of Prue's who later became a love interest, and he was also Detective Darryl Morris's partner. Andy was killed off at the end of the first season a few episodes after learning the sisters' secret identity.
• Brian Krause originally auditioned for the role of Andy.
• Chris Boyd was originally slated to play the part of Detective Andy Trudeau, but was replaced with T.W. King. The original unaired pilot of Charmed featured both Lori Rom and Chris Boyd.
